BOSTON - The fallout from a hidden copy-protection program that Sony BMG Music Entertainment put on some CDs is only getting worse. Sony’s suggested method for removing the program actually widens the security hole the original software created, researchers say.

Sony apparently has moved to recall the discs in question, but music fans who have listened to them on their computers or tried to remove the dangerous software they deposited could still be vulnerable.

T-Pain….The Next Big Artist

Friday, November 11th, 2005

Who ever coined the phrase “never judge a book by its cover” must have had a premonition about 20-year old singer/songwriter/rapper/producer T-Pain when they thought it up. At a time when image is considered just as important as vocal capability, T-Pain is introducing music fans to a new sound as well as a brand new look for R&B singers. T-Pain is unique.

Born Faheem Najm in Tallahassee, Florida to a pair of entrepreneur parents, T-Pain learned how to do things for himself as a youngster. EYE OF THE STORM

Friday, November 11th, 2005

By: Keith “1st Prophet” Kennedy

As of late, Florida is becoming known as the hurricane state constantly in a state of emergency. Not surprisingly, the eye of the most powerful force in the Southern entertainment industry rested in the capital of Tallahassee, Florida on October 19-23, 2005 during the TASTEMAKERS ONLY DJ/MUSIC CONFERENCE.

This fall classic edition contained within its vortex bands that fed over 1,000 DJs, artists, producers, label owners, media outlets, retailers, models, and other industry TASTEMAKERS information to help them not only survive the storm of the entertainment field, but to thrive in it as well. TJ’s DJ’s CEO, TJ Chapman served as chief meteorologist forecasting the next wave of talent set to break through the walls of the industry’s status quo.

The storm front began on Wednesday, October 19 with an epic battle for Madden ‘06 football supremacy among TJ’s DJ’s. EA Sports along with Yomele! Entertainment and Verbatim Records posted a pot of over $1,000 in cash and prizes including a Sony PSP for the tournament champion. After the dust settled, the TASTEMAKERS celebrated the latest invention by Tampa Tony to aid smokers called Da Splitta (www.dasplitta.com) complete with serving trays filled with product for demonstrations all night long.
