i thought i heard: "tucked it away 'from' my album", rather than "tucked it away 'for' my album"... i should have said it wasn't specifically written for "Step Up 2" as it was already done before they asked for a trk :)

Mariah & Madonna Make History.......

Mariah Carey scores her 18th No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with "Touch My Body". Download sales of 286,000 units, top the previous record set by Rihanna's "Umbrella," which shifted 277,000 last June.

Carey surpasses Elvis Presley to second place for most No.1s. With her album "E=MC2" yet to hit retail, Carey might equal the Beatles' record of 20 No. 1s before her set runs its course.

Presley will also be nudged from his standing as the artist with the most top 10s in the rock era, as Madonna surpasses him with her 37th top 10, "4 Minutes."

The Hottest 10 R&B Singers In The Game ... Right Now

(according to ballerstatus.com)

A few months ago, MTV had the liberty of constructing a list which consisted of the top 10 hottest rappers in the game. This incredulous list made fans, and rappers cringe in utter disgust as the "professionals" weeded out the good from the bad. Though the list drew a lot of controversy, and was considered an abomination to hip-hop. It made rappers step their game up. If all it took was a list for rappers to step their game up, then I figured maybe if someone compiled a group of male R&B singers, and made a list resembling the MTV standards maybe, then just maybe, we would see the same angst, and vigor among R&B singers.

Genius right? Well, I decided to take the liberty in orchestrating such a list. I'll be honest, the process was very tedious, and arduous, but it was done
10. Justin Timberlake
09. Mario
08. Robin Thicke
07. Trey Songz
06. Ryan Leslie
05. Usher
04. Lloyd
03. The Dream
02. Ne-Yo
01. Chris Brown
On the Verge: Sterling Simms, Sean Garrett, Pleasure P

This is it. It was hard, but I think I got it right. These are the ten hottest R&B cats out right now. Hopefully these artists step their game, and contest Chris Brown for that top spot, because right now, he's the man in charge. Let the debating begin.

check out the link for an in depth review of each artist and comments from others... I'd agree with the artists mentioned, but maybe mess about with the actual order hmmm:cool: Mario imo, should be nearer the top (lower no.) cos i think hes consistantly excellent
