Off topic a bit but,
Whoa dude, ur computer desk is the same exact one I bought a few years ago but I live in China. Ur in Australia right? How much did it cost you? I was JUST talkin about how buying stuff in China is always cheaper than buying the same exact thing in the US or abroad. My bar chairs cost me $15 USD for one and here http://www.comcore21.com/Gino-Bar-Stools.htm they're over $100 USD! That desk you have cost me around $25 bucks! :D

Cheap shit: one of the few good things about China...

I'll be postin up some shots of my setup soon.

hehe i can't remember how much i paid for it as it was 6 or 7 years ago. I believe it would be somewhere between 150-200 AU$ from a furniture store down the road from my house.

Thanks to China coz they make some really good products that fits everyones budget but then again i don't know about the quality of it hehe

Yea, true, a lot of stuff is super cheap but super low quality. You get what you pay for I guess, haha. But some stuff you do actually get lucky, like my bar stools. But I got them wholesale price. Pimpin.

wow, light show of it's own
Yeah the LED's are a lot brighter then it looks in these pics. When I'm in my room mixing I don't have to have the regular lights on, just the LED's if I want. They are so bright they light up almost all of my little room.
Can't wait to try my new setup out in front of an audience. I got a charity event this Saturday for 1,500 people...

Slick 1 that's a cool setup. You using Serato?
What kind of laptop stand is that & how do you like it?

I originally wanted to install some Chauvet color tubes, but they were too wide (& I didn't want to cut out any of the padding from the coffin). So one day when I was shopping at Costco I found these thin lights (their original purpose is to add "accent lighting" to a flat screen TV or entertainment system). The brand is Cyron (I did find a website for them when I googled them, but they didn't have the exact package I purchased). The one I picked up at Costco was about $80 for 6 bars & all the wires & controller. They don't fit on the sides of my mixer, but they fit along the sides & the back of my CD player.

By the way they were too bright! I actually had to turn them at an angle instead of straight up. I have one on each side & on the back of the CD players.

Dj Ruff
CDJ-200's
Numark DM1002 MKII
Mackie SRM 450's
Sony headphones

Pretty basic but it gets the job done!

Next step would be to get some lights I guess.
