I hear spyn audio dj headphones are pretty swell. I personally own the hp-349

Gold-plated ¼” and 1/8" screw-on L-shaped plug for easy access
2-20,000Hz Frequency
32 ohm impedance
10' coiled cable
6’ cable

Ear-conscious design for long-lasting listening comfort
Durable urethane leather construction

I use the Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones. They have amazing sonic clarity and really clean bass, but not too much that it overpowers the mids/highs of the song. For only $170, I'd go for those.

Sony MDR's are nice. Good bass response on them, but they are known for cracking around the swivel points if you're not careful with them. I've owned three pair of those with one being an RMA to Sony because of the crack. The Sony MDR-7506's are good monitoring headphones if you mix with your headphones actually on your head and not leaning on your shoulder. I've used the Techs and the Sennheisers. Both are great headphones. I went with the Pioneer HDJ2000 last time. They're amazing headphones and I haven't had one issues with them in the two years I've had them.
Check out uniquesquared.com. They're based out of Atlanta. Good prices and great service.
